ive got alot of halfords tools as i work there as a bike specialist. ive never borke anything other than the breaker bars. we have at least two a week back. saying that my friend ahs also snapped his teng tools one and a bluepoint one soo. i think its just the load there put under the heads arnt strong enough. maybe ab igger bar with a downsize bit on the end would make it stronger? its what i have had to do as im not buying another one to just break it. ive still got my replacment halfors one but i only use that when i dont need amazing force to undo something

MY old britool 2ft has taken the strain for the last 25 yrs. and my old halfords one is still going strong. 5yrs old now. 3ft one i use on tractors.

ive only broken the short extension bars from halfords, around the socket.

i know bluepoint is meant to be snap on's slightly lesser brother, but tbh most of the smaller bp stuff i see in the van is cheapo made in china crap

may as well buy laser or clarke tosh at a fraction of the price imo

Some of the BP stuff is OK, but I agree there certainly is some shite. Snap On Eurotools is poor as well IMO.

I use a Mac half inch and a Britool three quarter, had both for at least fifteen years and both have seen the inside of long scaffold tubes, cars and HGV.
