you only have to look at what people here are running to see they are "off the chart" :) havn't put any input into the CR Vs Boost chat, as my engine is much much more efficient at removing heat from the combustion chamber than any a-series, so i get away with murder when it comes to the amount of boost i can run! put simply, good intercooling, accurate fueling (not overly rich, or naturally lean) and accurate timing of the spark(megajolt) and a modern efficient turbo allows alot more boost at the same compression ratio that would have been considered dangerous many years ago. FWIW i have ran 19psi on 95 ron fuel, with no octane booster and no methanol/water at 9.5:1! and no detonation. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Aye was a bit rediculous! Swear it poured out faster than I put it in lol! turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

dont really count that engine as much of a success 8-) (so i dont quote its results) but was worth the effort for the results it provided :)
