Probably not much other then the yoko A048's if you want a decent tyre I'm not sure tht matters as the 55 profile 12" tyre is near as damn it the same as OD as a (edit edit edit{60 proflile} do they do a 60 profile in 10"?????) 10" tyre. everyone raves that 10" wheels are the best but now you can have a 12" wheel package that gives you the benefit of the smaller OD but with less tyre roll. Win Win in my book

A 55 profile 12" tyre is 7% larger than a 10" 60 profile tyre. In theory at least... In the real world, I guess, rim width, wear etc. also add a certain percentage to the diameter (more 'stretch' - less dia. p.e.).

Gents. the tyre well is usually on the outside.my big dish wheels will have the same inner rim dims as normal, it is dimentionally impossible to fit the standard 8.4 " brakes under any 10" dia wheel.

Would be intresting, if a similarily constructed 10" wheel would fit over 8.4" brakes ![]() I suggest you research your information regarding the A048R 12" tyre, as Yokohama state this tyre as an OD of 486mm with a rolling circumferance of 1487mm. Compare that with a 10" A032R tyre with an OD of 489mm with a rolling circumferance of 1496mm. Thereby showing that the 12" A048r wheel/ tyre package is near as damn it the same size as an A032R wheel/ tyre package. Smaller by all acounts

What is the standard size wheel when 8.4" brakes are fitted, whether it be Metro Mk1 or Mini? Carl just said that 8.4" brakes WILL NOT fit under any ten inch wheel, though there will be some who say otherwise, but they still dont fit 'under' a ten inch wheel

What was your tach at on this.....I run a 3.44 with 165x60x12 yokos and I tach about 5500 at 100mph. I like to push things, but not sure how much further I would want to go without an extra gear on top...
By the way Carl....anything available in a 4x4.5 bolt 12"? Love your wheels and they would look the stuff on the America....

To put it all to rest, a A048R in 12" is smaller than a A032R in 10" no matter how much you guys calculate and debate On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
