Actually as an anti-lag is just a turbo by pass, you can have it from the manifold to the down pipe, not much more noise ...

there is more than one method of antilag, some harsher than others, but i'm sure what is being discussed in this topic is antilag available on most programable ECU's. This method retards the ignition, while adding more fuel, and air with the throttle closed. This leads to a very late burn in the cylinder. Most of the charge is unburnt as it leaves the cylinder. as the partly burnt charge leaves the cylinder, its pressure drops, and therefore so does its flash point. auto ignition is then inevitable on the hot turbine, keeping it spinning, while the engine is doing very little. Retarding the ignition is necessary to keep the engine RPMs from sky rocketing as a result of the extra air, but also aids getting the un burnt charge from the cylinder, passed the exhast valve and into the exhaust for it to do its job.

Depending on how harsh you set this up, depends on how big the bang is. See video^^^

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Sorry, I just saw the reffered setup recently and thought it was clever.

I know nothing about setting up but mechanical system I can understand.

Guess I was misunderstanding things ... again ...
