I was driving behind a lorry the other day that was chucking snow off it's roof, but I kept far back enough that it didn't hit me. As much as I agree with people clearing their bonnets and roof aswell as windows, I think it's common sense to leave a larger distance between you and the vehicle in front if they haven't bothered to clear their roof and bonnet/boot.

This is the kind of weather that all 4x4 drivers think they can drive like twats because they have traction. They might be able to accelerate quicker in the icy weather, but it doesn't stop any quicker!! It takes just as long to stop whatever the vehicle!! On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Removing snow from lights and windows is a must. Roof & bonnet I never bother. On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:

very true, i saw this last year, such a hazzard... diddnt even clean her fucking headlights! she had about 6inch of snow all round no rear view, no side view, no wingmirrors (all snowed up), no headlights, just a small opening at front of car... stupid gimp! i even clear off the numberplates, just incase a cop pulls me over... i cant afford to get upto 6 points on my license On 3rd Dec, 2010 wil_h said:
The ones I think need pulling over are those who clean the windows but leave the bonnet and all the lights covered up with snow. Although they're the kind of twits (I actually mean twats) that never bother to indicate anyway! |
