Just bear in mind that there may be a frantic owner out there looking for their missing dogs.

Make sure you contact your local RSPCA and police station to give any perspective original owners the chance of getting there dogs back.

If highlighting one ord in one post, should't at least that be spelled correctly? *happy*

One what V? a 'ord'?

EDIT: It is spelt correctly, it's just not the correct meaning of what I was trying to write *tongue*

Not true unfortunatly. I have heard of many healthy dogs being put down because they weren't adopted quick enough or because they didn't have the space. As far as I'm concerned the RSPCA will only help something if there is something in it for them or they can get abit of TV coverage. There are too many stories of them refusing to help animals because they haven't the time or they don't think the situation is bad enough. One of the horses kept at a yard near where I used to keep mine was in a disgusting state, it was skin and bone, had mites and I suspect Cushings disease. We rang the RSPCA and they apparently went and looked at it and said it was fine, a week later it was dead. I could tell you plenty of stories about them but I won't because frankly, it pisses me off just thinking about them.

I'm trying my best to keep hold of them because if I hand them over to RSPCA ect they will be put down.

That's not accurate. The RSPCA will only put down a terminally ill dog or one that has bitten a human. That was certainly the case when I got my dog from them.

You need to find out the breed and condition of these dogs dude. A trip to the vets is required as a responsible would / be dog owner. They need their vaccinations and overall check up.

Or you could end up with a whole load of bills or worse still dieing dogs. Not Good…!

If they are fit and healthy and not registered you should be able to give them what sounds like a good home.

If not, they could be returned to their owner. Or if they are a Pit Mix you have to make a difficult decision. The Vets will advise you on your options.

You do not want to end up in a whole load of legal issues with regards to dangerous dog breeds. It’s not a good introduction to dog ownership.

Hope that gives you some options

RE: Training as per Wolfie said.

Firm but far and consistent. If not you will make a job for yourself. Especially with big dogs. (Mine is 50kg hunting dog .)

Potty training is easy watch the dog it will tell you when it needs to go. Just pick it up quick and take it outside and praise.

All my dogs are trained in a week. You get what you put into dogs. Dogs are not stupid Dog owners are..!

Also be careful what games you play with them to. A tug of war is not good. But fetch and retrieve is great.

Good luck and enjoy it.
