I'll take a look at the gap when I come over Mark but I think you basically have two options; refurb your old one or modify the new one.

Hopefully, see you Thursday evening after work.

Good meeting you Richard the other night. Still can't believe what a small world it is.

Finished the bonnet today. Very pleased with the result, just wish I was doing this when the car was in Primer.

View whilst welding taking it nice and slow.


I added some reinforcing to the back.


Forgot to take a photo after grinding the weld back. But this one shows how the gaps has nearly gone.
