I noticed there are two kinds of oil catch tanks. One with one or more inlets and the other one with at least one of those breather filters on top of it. Is this little filter essential or just for show purpose? |

Here is mine. It is just a Sigg bottle (well a cheep copy off ebay, about £5). I modified the lid with a bit of 15mm copper pipe and some glue and stuck a filter on.
