paper thin very small, might look rusty because i dropped it out side & only found it a few days later under the car.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter how small or 'paper thin' this debris is, it means that something in the engine is eating away at something else.

I couldn't think where there was a circular shim in the box as I couldn't get ball joint shims out of my head!!

Could someone have used shim steel behind the thrust to reduce crank endfloat?
I seriously doubt it! |

I saw it, and the first thing that popped into my head, was I'm hungry and want some dinner. Then I thought Diff shim whilst on the way to the fridge.. I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

My money would be on a Shim and I would think its the one thats sets preload on the main Gearbox pinion bering, I have seen these some of these work there way out and get shaved by the pinion,
