The 'big bore' reffers to the down pipes not the 'outlet' Although having a small outlet on bigger down pipes would seem pointless

The Maniflow Big Bore LCB has bigger down pipes, and is why it costs so much more.

The term 'Big Bore' in the last few years has become some what erroneous, as it sounds really good.

For A fire breathing 1400, the 'big bore' Maniflow LCB is best suited for a road engine, or the 3 into 1 for a race engine, with any 2" system. My vote, like Benross, also goes to Playmini.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Which one STII or STIII?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Then , why does Jhon is using maniflow manifolds on both his 1380 7 port, and 5 porter efi?

,

Have you owned both? Just making sure your making an informed comment.

I have used maniflow and I currently have an SC. I didn't rate my maniflow at all. The welds were pretty crap and it didn't seal paticularly well.

ETA it was overpriced too

Does he? I'm sure the 5 porter had an SC manifold on it at bingley.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

The ST3 is for 140bhp + engines. Read 1460 full race.

Talking to Swifty lately about these, St2 gives 2bhp more than normal large bore on a Miglia engine, St3 gives 1bhp more than St2 on same Miglia engine

I seriously doubt it!

Paul by large bore do you mean the 2" od 1.875 id?
Minx that would be interesting if it's not too much hassle lol if you keep all your parts in your bedroom like me.

Ahh I understand now. For a n/a engine that's 130bhp+ 3bhp by spending a extra £150 od on a manifold isn't a bad deal.

I meant 150 extra over the cost of the normal big bore

More than happy with my SC stainless manifold however I'm only running a little 998.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

I had a maniflow on my old engine, it was a nice well made bit of kit, and performed great, it never made it on to the rollers for a comparison though. I personally wouldn't go any where else, no one else has as much exhaust experience with a-series.

Yes, but that is no ordinary LCB. It could be a Specialist Components design? but it might be the Maniflow stage three, since the picture on swifty's web site is been cleverly taken to hide the clever bit. I have an original Specialist Components K head manifold, and that is Maniflow.
