Ive got one of the above guns and there great! sprayed a couple of cars with it and its still good, and at that money you cant go wrong.

Ive been told that wetting the floors etc to keep the dust down can also create moisture within the spraying area, and you can get micro blistering under the paint. Ive always wetted the floors and had no problem, but its worth a mention.

Also buy some tack cloths, there the last thing too use before the paint go's on and you will be suprised how much crap they do pick up.

The beauty of the devilbiss is that it has very low air consumption, which is better for my compressor. All food for thought thanks.

The Sealey is a HVLP - High Volume being the key words in that.

Right one more question. For those of you who have sprayed minis, how much paint did you use? It is for the race car and needs a blow over inside as well as the whole of the outside.

I am hoping 4litres will do the job.

Excellent, because that is what I have ordered. That is the end of questions now. Wish me luck.

Good luck buddy. If you have used Celly before you will find 2k far easier.

Just be sure to cover EVERYTHING in your garage before you paint, as the mist gets bloody everywhere.

Thats just it though its not 'dust' as such since the paint is still 'wet' as it lands.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I only used 2.5L of paint when spraying the mk1 and that was putting on about 6 coats!

My paint was mixed 2:3 2 parts paint 3 parts hardener, so it went a very long way. It might be worth checking the mix ratio before buying a load of paint. I bought 5 litre and still got half of it left, im a bit annoyed as it wasn't cheap!

EDIT: just seen you've already ordered it...could always paint the trailer to match if you have some spare *hehe!*
