oh I know, BHP figures don't mean everything, especially on the road.

I'd like to stick to the a-series as well, I find tuning it really enjoyable and the sound is just brillaint. Every a-series I've had has been pretty reliable to far too *tongue*. They do take a lot of maintiance though but that's no problem as I enjoy it.

My final decision to stay a-series was made last weekend at smeatharpe drag strip in devon.

My mate managed some seriously impressive times with his 1380, so much so that people kept coming over and being shocked it was still an a-series. people just don't seem as impressed when quick minis don't have a-series in them.

Admittedly it is now in pieces with an amazingly buggered big end bearing (literally been hammered out like plasterscene and splayed out around the big end bearing cap) and fucked centre main which I will post a picture of when I can get down to harris motorsport with a camera.
