you'd be supprised how good a wipe of firegum is,

I think i will call down to minispeed and get one of them mpi gaskets. and give that a go.

i assume im the only person who uses a good quality instant gasket (basically thick silicone that doesnt smell of vinegar) on turbo-manifold-head joins? works for me but the surfaces do need to be nice and flat, had the same issue with the gaskets as fire-ringed gaskets wernt avaliable when i first started messing about with turbo k's. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Right I have just got in with my new mpi gasket and some firegum so This see whats going to happen.

simon i get my payen turbo head set for £20 from my local motor factors, so id try a few places and see if u get a result 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |
