From what the other guys have said, I should be fine with the crank in the engine - if I need to change it will definitely give you a pm

No, as oneyedlizard said, not if it's from a Midget or any of the other longtitudinal 1275s.

The longtitudinal engines have the gearbox behind them, not underneath so the flywheel arrangement is different so it fits onto the crank differently so the crank is different.

Also I'm fairly certain that the block is slightly different too because the oil seal behind the flywheel is different.

mmm, okay well I will double check tomorrow with my neighbor and see if it has the gearbox at the bottom.
