HELP PLEASE Head gasket gone again

well guys after loadz of messing about today iv final got round to getting mine stripped to find the route of the poblem. After splitting the block from the gearbox and removing piston number 1 which had lost compression completly i found that the second compression ring had snaped in two. luckily there is no damage to the bore but this piston had gained a bit more metal, well its all built back up and ready to go back in tomoz,any ideas why a ring would snap or what could cause it??? C2_mad did you find out the cause to your problem ?

Done now needs redoing lol
