The van is still up for grabs and I've just lowered the price to offers over £12k.

Well, its gone and I'm officially now Miniless.

After entering it into the Charterhouse Auction at 'Classics in the Castle' at Sherborne yesterday, it went to a well known chap who runs an exclusive prestige sports and classic car business in Sandbanks, near Poole. A very fitting place for what has got to be my best creation.

The guy who bought it wants to keep it in his collection of vehicular exotica so I doubt we'll see it on the road very much. I know he'll give it the care and TLC it deserves and it'll be used to pull the crowds into his showroom with the odd blast out every now and again.

Sad day but in the end it's only a car and I got a very good price.

End of an era but I'll still be on here pestering a few of you now and again.

Had a li'l tear but hey, I bought it when I was 28 and its been with me for 15 years so I think I'm entitled to !

I still have a garage full of parts to sell so will be around for a good while yet but I don't think I'll be doing another like it as it just took over my life.

The new missus and I are into our sports bikes so that's where I'll be focussing my attention from now on. That said, I've had a blast with you guys and won't be going anywhere. Logging into TM every lunchtime and when I get home from work will be a habit hard to break !!

I had to go to Holden to get the ali centre and then mod it to fit.
