The long wheel base tank has baffles in it. They are not that effective. If I could I would have filled them with foam cells.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the tanks I have fitted a fuel return onto. I made a sort of dip tube on the back of a 1/4 npt socket which was then silver soldered into the tank in an area just bellow the subframe rear cross member and the other side of the internal baffle from the fuel pick up.

The 'dip tube' is mearly there to prevent the fuel trickling into the tank when its haf empty and aggitating the fuel. I also had the thought of it making a trickling noise, making the driver and passengers want to go for a piss in a traffic que lol.

The only pic I can find was this one robbed from a friends project thread over on Minifinity, whome I modified the tank for, and I know he won't mind me posting the pic *wink*

You can see the return fitting to the right of the picture in both of these pics

High pressure pump, fuel filter and regulator located in the engine bay

Swirl pot also in the engine bay

Lift pump at the rear under neath by the tank.

This is just one way, there are plenty other ways. Also note that while the pics above are a Van with a rear 'beam', the subrame would easily fit straight on.
