graham , no its a straight through 2.5 inch inconel pipe .5mm wall thickness .

then it has a baffle stuffed in it .
the baffle consists of a 1.75 inch perforated tube about 8 inches long ,with the end blocked with a washer ,and the other end splayed out to the edge of the pipe,that slides over the end of the exhaust .
this means the air has to go out through the holes in the perforated pipe to get out ,and knocks the noise off about 30% .

without the baffle its pretty blimmen loud . in fact john k told me i had the loudest engine award at avon .lol.

Robert I think most people don't mind them loud it's the boomy sound I don't like. Sounded good in the vid... Is the car up on power with the configuration?

i think its prob less powerfull than the quiet exhaust,with the baffle in ,but more powerfull with it out ..it was just so i didnt have to change to the side pipe at the track ,but could drive it there without it being too loud .

it just had the ultimate test ...35 minutes driving around witney in the afternoon heat ....oil as thin as poss .no shmoke ,,,and not even a remote sign of a pancake ! .
