I've just had 2 sets of the latest spec. weld-in kits from Tom, and they are excellent quality, very impressed.

A picture of the new brackets- 3mm laser cut, 16mm square nuts which are 12mm deep, so I'm confident they couldnt be much stronger :)

Josh- bit hard to see but on the bottom of the black bracket in the 2nd pic, you can see the rows of holes and slots. These allow you to move the bracket forwards and backwards on the welded in subframes- so long as the tubes aren't welded in so far apart that it would drop off one when moved!

I might be missing something obvious here but my seats are bottom mount only (cobra Monaco s). I used to bolt up through the subframe into the seat base, I'm guessing this won't work with these? |

they'd be ok if you removed the bit that holds the nut in place and just put a bolt up through the slot? if that makes sense |

Sorry somehow I've missed the posts on here, I've thought that before- you could just use the bracket without the captive nut and bolt through, but you'd have to be careful to get them in the right place before welding the tubes in as you only get adjustment side to side with these, the forwards/backwards adjustment is done in the ally side bracket normally. www.topcatcustom.co.uk |

Just to mention I have just had a set of the side mounts (the black ones), and they are an absolute work of art, beautifully made.

No sorry, we'd use so little of it that it wouldn't be worth ordering in the materials, also not sure how well it would fold on sharp corners being harder? www.topcatcustom.co.uk |
