What you seem to forget also is that changing the rod bolts will often require that the big ends are resized. That's my experience... On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

You are aware V that the ARP bolts require a chamffer on the rod bolt holes before you fit the bolts, otherwise the radius on the bolt head will bottom out before the head itsef, and chances are, distort the rod bearing seat. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Infact I didn't.....Out in the garage to have a look at some recently fitted bolts... On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
