There are places that will make any new seal from a sample of the old one. Or sometimes you can get lucky and find an off the shelf non specific one will fit. Try here: http://www.northeasternrubber.com/epages/6...dow%20Rubber%22

as the screen is heated, i'm sure replacement glass is far more than rubber - i know what i'd do

Exactly, never come across them.....so want to keep glass! The rest of the glass I will make templates of and sell on ebay :)

Yep and rear quarters/front panel. Shell is very solid, quarters are the only rot on it. *happy*

tidy. Roof should be easy enough on a mutro. certainly easier than a mini.

I use the stuff from halfrauds, has masses of zink in it and seems to last forever. Can't remember the exact name, but it's in a green & silver tin.

I used it when I changed my roof and it's done over 18 months without a hint of any rust coming through.

Started taking the screen out. Screwdriver and pushing the rubber around the lip. Trying to be fooking careful!

spadge a load of somthing slippy on there to help it out, keep a contant pressure on the screen and just be patient, and gradually work round.
