I think it would be negligible myself as a slight change in anything else going on in the engine at the time could be attributed to the gain or loss from chain to belt.
Mr. V does mention that using the belt acts as a vibration damper for the camshaft and helps the engine hold it’s cam timing better than a chain drive that wears and slackens off over time.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.

Quite true Tom - You measure it in a lab on frictionless bearings, but that doesn't tell the whole story - for example, say a chain is loose, whereas a belt is tight (or vice versa). The radial load on the bearings will be different between the two...
