Could the emails etc still be stored on a server anywhere ?

apparently our emails are deleted from the server when they are downloaded to the computer so no chance of recovering them.

more frustrating is that I've lost my day book and a couple of paper files that were in the bag as well. I can't even go back and refer to them in the absence of the electronic stuff.

lesson learnt

sorry to hear this dude, always have your email as an imap though never pop3. that way it just syncs with the server and unless you drag emails out to a new pst file or something your safe. not that it helps you now but beats having to worry about fear of backing up your life every hour.
