Yeah , I mostly agree with Ben H. It's the overall package that counts with respect to what you want the car to do.
look at the current F1 front suspension - everyone knows that the wishbones shouldn't be in that position, but getting the airflow right, under and thro' the car buys you a quicker lap time than using 'proper' geometry would.
But it's still fun going for it and working it all out for yourself.

I used to talk to myself a lot until I realised I wasn't listening.

Yeah some good points there I hadn't really thought of, we'll see what happens, I've got plenty to deal with before I get stuck in with it anyway.
