im dont im sold ill do it my self with help that is ie tolerances tricks and stuff

is there a diffrence in gear sets "a" vs "a+"
or just the drop idler ?

dose anyone run the minispairs C-STN39 gear set and a 3.1 diff on 13" wheels

im a bit worried about what the guesswork ratio calculator says about the swap from my stock box to the one i have chosen
it looks like my current second gear will be my new first gear im worried that the 1098 wont pull it ?

i currently have a 3.647 (17/62) FD with stock gears set
im thinking of getting 3.105 (19/59) FD with the minispairs C-STN39 gear set SC CR

I would change the final drive on that. it will need a lot of revs to set of and will be pretty dull in first

i dropped the FD down to 3.647:1 (17/62) witch i have two set of already.. and changed the drop gears from stock to 1.0416:1

also if im correct changing the drops is the same as the FD? i do believe there where a few factory drop ratios ?

Looks better. 70mph at 4k rev's is about the highest i would want for a road car

yup and if its to tall well ill have to find some more grunt to pull it along !

id hate to order a gear set and its the wrong one!

buy a+ gears for a+ box i think some can be retro fitted its the 3 bearing lay shaft in the earlyer gears where you would have problems
that said though ive only worked on a+ boxes
