im on my second mx5 now, im supercharging it with my spare M45 i was going to use in the marcos, they are great cars and handle fantastic, the best thing is the rifle action gearchange much like the elan it was based on, have a look over at MX5Nutz.com for a decent forum

I've been toying with turboing one of these. I have been offered a virually brand new 1800 engine for free so was thinking with the addition of a gt2056 250hp wouldn't be difficult to achieve. Then just buy a mx5 with knackered engine for penuts and dump the whole lot in.

Trouble is I'd want to make it look good too which would cost money, therefore have decided to stick with the landrover and have the mini as the toy!

All most certain I will go down the turbo route.

I guess they are a bit marmite, but im not sure why some hate on them as hard as they do?? With a few body mods they soon look as well as they drive.

you can get a kit from the states to put a small block in...............

i know my mates on that mx5nutz forum, didn't know if it was just a local club or a proper forum though.

my old mans got 2 red mk1 eunos's (eunii? alan?) going up for sale i think.

he cant of had that more than a year! and i know how much he paid

he bought em at the start of winter to sell in the spring, might get a bit more interest than having the money sat in the bank, lol.
