You could just buy the kit from APT:

Poorly listed, but I believe some of those are 5/16", well the ones I bought were.

Good shout Paul.

Agreed, but its still not individuals.

Why would you need individual bolt when you can buy a finished kit for what you need?:)

Stevie, I appreciate the help, but I have already been on google for hours and came accross both of those. I wouldnt be surprised if the minimum order is 100, so many of the 'suppliers' are. Not what I'm looking for *oh well* Basically, they are happy to supply these bolts, but they don't carry them in stock, which is why there is a minimum order.

No worries.

But have you phoned and asked ? Yes these places make custom parts. But what you seek isnt really that strange, so could well be a stock item for them.
Or are there any US places ? like for motorbikes, engines etc. Hassle buying from the US, but UNF/UNC will be easy over there.

Although if you could find a stud/nut kit from ARP, that might be another option. Maybe some hellhousing stud/nuts for another vehicle ? Or a sump kit for some yank engine ?
An off the shelf package would probably be cheaper. Maybe an exhaust manifold stud/nut kit or something. Then Real Steel might have them

I'm sure you've googled already, but here's a US source. If they post, they certainly arent dear

http://www.allensfasteners.com/search_resu...arch=fromSearch

just google 12pt 5/16

Or another interesting one...not the cheapest though. Rocker gear nuts ?

Give Real Steel a shout. They do list some ARP 12pt nuts singly ( 3/8" though )
Their online catalogue is crap though. So maybe they are aware of something in 5/16" that is available and in stock

Colin, box to block kit number GBF-2F is in 5/16" UNF.

If you can afford to waste cash on the rest, then just buy 5-packs :)

I ordered a few sets of 12 point ARP 1/4" UNF bolts and nuts to fix the box to the block plus some other bits and pieces from Part-box.

Placed the order on the 8th knowing that they were not in stock. They came back to me and said that they would be 3-4 weeks which I was happy with.

Just got the tacking data from UPS. Happy with that.

Nope, never found anywhere really. The ARP 5 packs look to be good value. I never got the chance to order them, but that will change in the new year

You could always have a word with Turbochargedstu as he appears to be in the aircraft breaking industry *wink*

I know, but they look a lot nicer than regular hex headed bolts, and as minispares want nearly £1 per bolt for the standard bilts I thought it would be worth looking at something else. Ti ones don't work out too bad in comparison.
