Well a little up date for you, thanks to swfit tune I now have a new gearbox http://www.swiftune.com.

I'll keep you posted on how it drives, but hope no any teeth breaking is now a thing of the past he he.

I fancied a bit of dogging in the TT3, but in the end saved my money.

I am sure you will get used to it soon enough. The dog boxes I have used it is only 1st that is a bit of a pain.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

I saw one of these after a full season in a Miglia - it still looked brand new.
When I first drove mine I thought I would use the clutch until I got out of the estate and onto the open road, but as I went to change gear it was in second before I even got the clutch pedal to the floor. Since then I havent used the clutch to change up or down the gears - literally just to pull away and to stop.
Which first gear did you go for Matt?
Dont forget to modify your reverse gear if youre using the standard one

The new ones paul come with reverse gear too. Mines been in for years, I'm very happy with mine, shame it not got a few extra gears though

Hi Guys, well just got back from my first drive with the new box, and made it back in time before it rained , what a suprise!!

Well I new from the off that the ratios aren't ideal for me and the 2.9 (that i'm keeping for now) but didn't have any other options so I went for the 2.3 gear kit.

the big news for me is that if you put put your foot on the clucth and eave it there for a couple of seconds you can put it into first gear 99 times out out 100 WITHOUT a clonk! I wasn't expecting that. Paul and Arraon and swifty all said the new ones aren't as bad, and driving up the box was also ok, if your firm with the changes they go stright in with about 90 % of the time without any clonking. As for the down changes, well I'm not mastered that yet lol! will keep you posted.
