No. But it is fairly simple and the description from ntm1275 about covers it, plus sticking a sheet about an inch wide welded to either side of the joint on the inside wherever you can. If unsure use a bodyshop, you don't want it falling to bits on you.

No. I decide what is roadworthy, not some twat with a clipboard. Clearly if anyone asks it was done in the factory.

why would anyone go through vosa? If you did you would technically have to do it for every mod made to the car. that even if vosa do the these sort of checks.
