Well it did mate!

Yeah i need a new needle for this engine, something more on the mark. Might see if he'll tune it before the RR day aswell. Need to get all those last horses!!

Well its all back on the road, going to be RR tuned a week monday all being well ready for the shout-out friday!

Have to say though that the paint its staying on perfectly. Goes a little soft when its hot but still looks really nice.

Paint is still fine after about 200/300miles (speedo stopped working but its fine now!). Had a small oil leak where i forgot to tighten up a sprk plug and it cleaned off the paint fine and stayed shiney so guess hammerite does the job. That was probably the hottest part of the engine aswell.

Well i havent done any painting yet. Plus i'm applying for a summer job at halfords so i'll get the inside info :)
I'm thinking of painting it blue so the 'Pink' issue will not put me off.

The pink thing isn't an issue i don't think for some reason the camera really makes it look pink when in fact its a really nice red!!

Once its painted you'll have to get some pics on show!

What is the little red thing on the end of the hose coming out of the inlet manifold ?
I have one on my Turbo engine and am trying to sort of the plumbing
these origonaly fed were connected to the Turbo air Box ?
they are some kind of valve but what why how when

It does drip a bit, only just fitted the brakes but they seemed leak free.... Wouldnt make a nice job of the paint!
It was being parked up overnight as well before the trip down to kent so its got plenty of time to leak!!!

Yeah didnt want the van to leave the country but the highest bid wins and all that!
