My engine & box is coming in around the 2k mark & hoping for around the 160-170ish bhp at around 15psi boost & I like the sound of johnnys bhp-psi figures gives me hope yet lol

Its not a mini, but its 1275 A series and I have 137bhp on an engine built from an 80000 mile Midget engine with second hand pistons and a head from TurboPhil.
Total cost well under £1000.

Its pure guesswork, but going on what I read and hear, if I was to push the boost up to 18-20psi I might expect another 20-30hp -but not for too long, I fancy !

I think going from 100-130hp will cost you very little, 130-160hp I would double it, 160-190 possibly even double it again.

It'll make more power per £ if you arm yourself with knowledge before spending you hard earned on "bigger turbo, cams"

Get reading and look at some build threads of 200nana cars.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Somewhere around Swindon

you will never get 200bhp with that spec .......... you have not factored in the red paint!

this might see 200 at the flywheel depending on boost.

That's the plan, I figure the engine and turbo should take 23psi no problems.

In a word no. But if you buy the right stuff, get it built & setup correctly then it is achievable.

It can however easily go very wrong and cost you a lot of money.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Have you tried driving something so small with so little grip and so much power on the road. scary at best, dangerous at worst...

about right,

I dont attemt to overtake things in mine with the boost up as 1 lane isnt enough room... bump catseye etc and you could easily be brown bread... only really practical for the strip.

Yeah actually as above. My mini is not running loads of power (just shy of 140bhp at last RR) but it is still more than fast enough to get you into a lot of trouble.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
