Where do people go for agreed value, I phoned footman James the other day and they would not quote me as the engine was worth more than 40% of the car

Footman James are only good for standard cars, try hic or Adrian flux

If you can get classic car cover it's tons cheaper. Most will only do it if you're 25+.

Mine is £220 with HIC, limited mileage with breakdown cover for the whole of Europe.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I think it was due to the engine being worth more than the car and me wanting an agreed value.

(Most will only do it if you're 25+) I wish I was under 25, infact 35 would do lol

why is insurance more expensive for a tax exempt mini than a non tax exempt mini?

With HIC , all mods declared , agreed value of 7000 , track day cover and drive any car. I am 26 and been driving 8 years. They wouldn't use my NCD on classic policy. - £700
I renew in about a month so see what it looks like.
