Thanks for the replies but I do think its going to have to go the machine shop Ill upload a picture of the tech drawing I have to see if its up to standards. I don't think I have a steady enough hand for this job :( but thank you so much for the replies I shall keep you all up to date on how the engine is coming along :)

Few more questions guys

1. sw5 cam is it a good daily cam? want something close to the MG metro cam :)

2. Head gasket ? witch one do I use?

3. Piston rings? What ones to use?

4. Where can I get PTFE Buttons from to replace though Circlips?

Err haha sure someone in the fourm staff can set the thread up :) I won't know what to put

I've gotta overbore my engine :/ got a issue with the bores my mate found its bad on cylinder 3 so I'm thinking +0.040" over bore what would be best pistons?

The Kent 500 cam is pretty much identical to the MG Metro NA cam.

If the bores are stock then overbore to the next size which is +"0.020. Only if you already have "0.040 pistons would it make more sense to overbore to that size. That's my personal opinion though, as I would want to get as many overbores in as possible, should it be required.

Ohh right okay Ill buy +0.020 pistons then Calver St site seems to have decent ones they worth the money though?
