I dont think we are being negative, just pointing out the facts from real experience. I've learnt the expensive way, and wish someone had pointed out the pit falls before I got to deep in. I got my head in 2010 and have spent over £4 grand inc management. You can get the head to flow really well, and top end power is not a problem. Am over 30 now, and drivability is one of my major priorities, especially on today's busy roads.

I got my head way back in 2006, had either the SC 7 port or bimmer K kits been about I would have gone that route.

if the ports are too big , i would use it with the 33mm inlets ,and use a short duration cam to build up the bottom end ,then use the turbo and the higher than stock airflow to keep it producing power higher up .
