To be fair stretched tyres aren't as bad as everyone makes out, obviously you wouldnt want them on a performance orientated car but I run a 165 45 15 on a 7 and a 185 45 on an 8 on my daily drive :) On 15th Jul, 2009 fastcarl said:

Just my opinion but the reason the arches/wheel combination look good on that VW is because the arches are part of the wings.

you could buy some arch panels from a vw and modify them to fit and get the look your after Done now needs redoing lol |

Could try fine a Golf or something in the scrap yard and cut them off? I think mini's would look better with smoothed in arches I don't wanna be drilling holes in the mini :/ |

i was once warned by mr pc whats his face it was upto 3 points per wheel not sure if this was 100% true or he was just warning me Done now needs redoing lol |
