I bought a 50 pc socket set from halfords about 2 years ago, for about 15 quid.
And they have lasted me fine, yeah they are not exactly the best tools ever made, but as they haven't broke and they were so cheap I won't complain.
I also have a cheap set of silverline spanners that came with a good warranty (cant actually remember what it was now, maybe 3 years or something). So for about £40 I have most of the basic tools I need for the mini, and if they break I won't be bothered as i believe i have had more than my moneys worth out of them.

Just found a link: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId_255215

Halfords torque wrenches are very good, and cheaper than anywhere else.

What are the Britool Screwdriver Sets like? As I am looking for as big a set as I can get, I have found a set on ebay that I am thinking of ordering. Also has anyone played much with Teng Tools? I have emptied my pound jar and I would like to invest in some better tools.

I know halfords sell some good tools as I already have a lot, but I am looking for somewhere priced between Halfords and snap on.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

Snap on set at work. Halfords go through at home, would say the halfords ones are best set. Already had a snap on one break after minimal use,
Halfords ones took years of abuse, used as a chisel...
Although the halfords set was on sale at £20

Simon ive used these for about 6 or 7 years now, and they are still going strong...They feel nice to use and seem to be unbreakable!
