The show is crap, but I thought they did a decent job of the shell. They didn't show it all, but it had plenty of new bits put on. Shame they didn't drop the front subframe and do something with the engine.

£5k is a way too much though. They claimed to have spent £2600 on the resto, but I think someone is getting paid very little or fiddling the books.

Mind you I though the woman at the start was good trying to sell her heap for £2k. I bet that was all a setup to though.

did they change the wings? there was a shot where the wings had been bare metaled and the rot clearly visible around the headlights.

I certainly wouldn't use the so-called expert valuer for anything

Load of shit. They seem to like turning crap cars into "replicas", which must make them magically worth double what they are! Cant stand any of the people on the show either, the lazy cockney prick shouting at the workers telling them they are lazy and too slow, all he did was squirt some WD40 over the shitty engine!

Don't forget to oil the carb though all you mini owners or it will misfire!

...and how does it take 5 days to do a mini interior- 5 hours more like...

Some one pointed out that the mini going off to be checked if it was straight was a later model with side repeaters. Whereas the original car was an earlier front without them.

Sloppy fake show, but I can't help watching car-telly. :/ I hate the people, hate the 'stories'.. but still, cars on telly. Wheeler Dealers is almost as bad, but I still watch that too.

I hate to say it but I too watch any car telly no matter how crap, I like the american stuff, boyd's hot rod's were good till it became about the people not the cars, my new favorite is fast and loud, texas boys with some interesting ideas about making a cheap buck!

If he is a real valuer is reputaion must be shot now, although I recon he's just a random guy from their local.

Tbh last night was one of the better ones, the E-Type & MGB were a joke!
