Have you blocked off the relief valve in the plenum? It was mentioned above but you don't say what you have done with it.

Yes tom sorry, relief valve blocked off, just blanked my air filter and run a airline through for a second time, i can hear the leakage coming from around the carb area, but cant quite put my finger on where exactly it is, once i can find out ill rest assured and get it done.
Doesnt bother me that its broke, its just the sole destroying point i cant find it lol.

Low boosting for now.

Tactical use of WD40 when it is running to find the leak.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

How is it blocked? Could it have come loose/leaking?

Have you checked the dump valve? If its a piston type, these can become intermittently sticky.

First thing i did was take the dump valve off. Its not that, ive blocked off the relief valve with a bit of cylindrical steel pushed into the hole with some rubber gasket adhisive stuff to ensure it seals.
My next step is to run a wd40 test or my dad metioned doing a smoke test when he sparks up at some point lol.

Is there any decent ways of blocking that relief valve? My way seems pretty good but may be its not working,
Just like to add when this noise came about, i had boosted and heard a pop pop noise, and since then i have the problem we discuss.

Low boosting for now.

I know it sounds crazy but do you have a pipe from the manifold to the brake servo ? I blew my brake servo a while ago and same thing happened , it was only after 3 weekends of Testing and more testing I discovered where the leak was .

FOUND IT can you see the little pinhole in the carb flange just above and to the left of where the plenum stud is poking through?!

Is it hissing from that area? If so, could it be the plenum/gonzo nose gasket?

Is the method you have used to block the factory dump valve, preventing the two faces from sealing properly?

Yep! I think the little tag in the restricter ring was leaking theough a hole in the gasket. Just waiting on the mastic to seal it, will find out tomorrow, fingers crossed.
