Fastest A Series Mini in the World

leeds/wakefield.

Crank was prepared the same as used by Mini Sevens and checked with plasti-gauge on build. I'm sure MED do not use an "it'll do" attitude for race engine components.

No idea, but I have the tools to work it out if I could be arsed.

The mass of the damper is not that critical. As long as it is in the range of 5-25% of the mass of the rotating assembly, excluding the flywheel, then it will be effective.

I'm guessing Jimster it the expert here.. His grasser must see well over 8k?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

Thats probably a 970 based engine, not a 998.

You initially ask such a simple question in reality, when you are capeble of calculating the torsional vibration frequency of a crankshaft and mass of a suitable damper??............What's going on Paul?

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Because it's about a weeks work to do the calcs. Easier to gauge from others experience.

I think in this situation I would be listening to the folk with the most directly comparable experience.

Which in this instance is Wil and Ben.

my grasser sits at 9500rpm, and has no damper, but I didn't build the engine, also my stroke is only 67mm
