Only needed for a 'wet' battery. something like a Varley redtop is classed as dry. So no need for a container. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I know that people have been asked to put dry batteries into boxes before. I would probably put it in a box,to save any possible hassle. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

in theory you are not allowed to remove any part of the original floor forward of the rear wheel centre line.

Where does it say that carl? I'm finding that a lot of the nitty gritty of the regs isn't written and seems to float about as common knowledge amongst current competitors.

It basically says that the you cannot alter the unitary construction between the wheel centres. Unitary is defined in section B.
