wouldn't that make it looser brett? maybe heat the bolt ,then tighten it to max ,then let it cool ?

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

Get a new puller and some big ass tough washers as the ones that come with em and go on the bolts are cack!

Then when you bolt it to the flywheel measure it to ensure it's perfectly square. Andy & I have broke no end of pullers, but haven't failed since we started measuring to ensure it was square (apart from when the threads broke off the flywheel & we used the wrong bolts! lol).

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

No, I just spent 5 minutes last night and the head sheared off the big puller bolt so will remove the 3 bolts to get the puller out and either try and get it out or use another puller.

I'm sure an old man gave me a puller once that looked like the BL tools. Will have to try and find it.

Just warm the nose of the flywheel boss with a small blowtorch and let it expand a bit then try re-pulling, worked for me fine

I had exactly the same problem on one of my engines, took us about a week of trying and no luck so resorted to demolishing it.

And hey presto it was friction welded on basically.

Ill keep my fingers crossed you dont get the same.

Low boosting for now.

I must thank Mike. Although you all wouldn't believe how hard it was originally he made it look easy!

Tightened up and one hit with a hammer and off it came. Wonder whether it has anything to do with the cold and that the puller has been on since Sunday. I reckon it was just mikes strong arms.

Cheers again for coming further than you thought in snowy conditions.

No probs pal Its purely down to me being a double hard bastard! The damage to the crank didn't look to effect the taper to be honest. Slap some pics up.
