Doesn't say what grade alloy was used. I'd personally want to know if i'm buzzing it to 8k with an RTS. Don't want the bolts pulling out now do we

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I contacted the seller.

The ring gears are from Minits supplies . The aluminum grade is 7075 high grade aircraft aluminium made billet .

The plate is en24t so all metal is top quality, they are made in uk in my factory, not china cheap crap, the price is cheap, as we do short runs on them to keep cost low.

I bought one guys, ill let you now how i go.

So what one would people recommend on a low compression.engine, (7.8-1) the lighter one?

I've seen one of their pre verto flywheels in person and it was very nice. Certainly did well on my brother 130bph race engine.

They're made over on Bayton road Ind. estate in Coventry. The lads there are ex-Farndon Racing engineers. They manufacture the H beam rods for minispeed, everything is made in house and then heat treated at a place across the road.

Ive got one of these ali verto flywheels but i'm still yet to get the engine finished though. These have been tested by A&R before they started selling them, they had pictures to prove it when i went to see them.

As I am really thinking of swapping my full fat fly wheel over to one of these as it's a very good weight saving.

Ive got one, really nice piece of kit, 2.3kg weight saving over my already lightened standard cast flywheel.

Yeah I can't see why not, only one way to find out. Lol

You'll have to dig your lathe out and make some dowels for it, but apart from that it was a straight swap.

I had a good nosy over one of those at Bingley and my only concern was with the use of an RTS, there just didn't look like enough meat in the flywheel behind the steel friction face for it to be rigid enough.

Just a thought

Since mine was fixed, I've not had an issue after 3000+ miles of abuse.

So are you saying they would be no good Colin ?

Gary have you got one?

As there is only really med and MS left to look at, I think the med one is the next lightest?
