OT: Audi a3 tdi cutting out

My A4 did exactly this. (2.0tdi).

If its the injectors the glow plug light comes on. (They failed as well!)

It was the ecu relay cost about £20 from TPS.

Plug into the diagnostic shows no power to the ecu.

Annoyingly it was one of 2 relays, one £80, the other £20 so bought both. Couldn't return the £80 one.

And I sold it 2 days later! Had all sorts go wrong. Was a 5 years old s-line se 170.

I did 40k in it over 2 years, every service at Audi and had new injectors, wheel bearings, dual mass flywheel was goosed, that intermittent cutting out until it wouldn't start and a couple of other things.

Had full Audi SH with it and was just under 3 years old when I got it. Depreciated by about £7k in those 2 years and wasn't that great on fuel.

Now got a fiesta sport van, 60mpg all day long, cheap parts etc. save £100+ a month just on fuel!
