sorry for the short notice dude,
all this extra MOT work has really thrown a spanner in the works(a big rusty spanner at that), been working on it 3 nights solid after work now till midnight and still havent managed to get all the work done. i think a reshell is on the cards this winter with how rotten it is.

With regards the flip fronts, iv never had any bother. find another MOT station, and find one quickly before they al go computerised *tongue*

I dont think computerised mot stations will be any worse or better the mot is done the same I have done around 100 bike mot's with the computer it is a pain to work some times but the result is the same

I hadnt thought of that we have never charged for a retest until the computer came along the extra hasle means we dont give free retests anymore but you should still be able to hagle with a friendly mot station.

The mot's that most stations now supply are computer generated and VOSA has a direct link to the mot station. The milage is recorded on VOSA's computer for the first time ever, and if the vehicle has recalls it shows up a the time of the test also any thing that needs special attention like rusty subframe.
It als shows if the vehicle is registered as having had major accident damage (we have had a bike with this always worth a laugh if it not your own)

I've been told to use the search button so here we izzle..
Was actually looking to find out if anyone braced the door pillar to the inner wing when using a flipfront with a-panels?

believe teh convention is to weld some kind of berace between the a-panel and the inner wing (to the rear of the shock mount) to support the a-pannel and whatever kind of brackets you have to support the front end :)

All my creations have passed their MOT's with flip fronts and no drama's. I now fabricate my own as I know the off the shelf jobs from most places are not man enougth for a turbo motor.
