oddly enough i had a similer problem on my mini, and it's not a turbo, yet... my problem was a simple fix one of the studs from the head had pulled from the block when i re attached the manifold, in your case since it is very little smoke at idle i would say that when you stop there is a back pressure from the other cylinders and its comming out one of the exaust manifold tubes when the pressure is built up between the turbo and the head.
BTW this is a guess but i hope its solved soon

It would seem your in good condition turbo is in not so good condition by the looks of that wet turbine housing.

Well I dropped the turbo in this morning at Midland turbo for a rebuild and they are changing the turbine housing also as there are some cracks in it and not recommended leaving it when upping the boost.
They said there is a lot of carbon build up causing it to pass oil.

Et Voila problem solved I hope

yes there you go andy ............ but make SURE ! the turbo oil drain is FREE flowing back to the engine block buddy, no kinks or undue twists in the pipe work etc .....

Yes Steve I will. I think I might fit a scavenge pump and send it into the rocker cover or somewhere!
