Update, new one has arrived and looks a lot better, not perfect and needs abit of work but I'll let the pics do the talking




And to be fair they didn't ask for me to send the old one back (useless anyway) and posted a new one out for no charge

This is a typical example of someone not knowing what they are doing..

The boss and pipe need to be manufactured in such a way that enables the person welding the two parts together as evenly as possible.

This then makes for a very nice strong welded fabrication.

The problem is that the welder has to try and weld a thick walled part (the sensor boss) to the thin walled pipe.

I would ask them to send the 2 parts and get them welded by someone who understands fabrication methods, these parts will see considerable heat stress during their lifetime.
