Gents, you are all missing a very important point here,

forget the invalided carriage wheels for a minute,

but I want to know how the gold Statue in the photos found its self in a car park presumably not at SC base,

could this be a result of Star Trek esque teleportation or has it actually moved under its own steam, because it has not been seen moving at any mini events in the last 2-3 years .is it me or would you call that selective outings ,lol

I think they have been very wise and released a wheel that the mini market on the whole will love, especially at that price. They'll sell like warm baked goods.

I actually like them but only in the silver finish as on the white car.

Only problem is if they become a bit of a clit wheel!

my instant opinion started with a V and ended with hall..

i dont dislike them but they look like the average alloy wheel you would find in a showroom stuck on a new car

Black ones look ok, in a sort of dunlop D1 kind of way

they are nothing special. just look like a golf cart wheel! don't think carl has anything to worry about!

I would prefer a set of minilights than the sc wheels given the choice.

some may like, but cant see many of these being sold

Not my cup of tea but it is nice to have even more choice of wheels to buy

I don't think market research was on the cards here,

after all we are talking about the mini scene and not Toyota cars ,

In the early years all I did was have a scribble on some paper to see what I could come up with design wise,

which is what I suspect the tea boy at SC has done here,

then lately I have made a made some three piece wheels based on old classics,

the SC wheel is a simple design , easy to tool up for and easy to cast relatively speaking, the simpler the design the cheaper they are to produce and as with most things made outside the Uk made to a price

I'm sure they'll sell lots of em. I think this would have looked brilliant as a five (x2) spoke however. 4spoke seems a little short of character, like the mamba, or the minisport saxon....
