My dad has had the e90 330i e92 335i now has the new 525i, my best mate has the 320 ed (67mpg average he drives 80mph on motorway and round town) I have been looking at the 116 ed as my next car when the clio dies (more mpg/power/better looking than the new civic (company car)).

PF jones ebay shop has the westfalia detachables on offer at £200. i bought and fitted mine last week. won the canbus wiring a few weeks earlier. pretty trivial to wire only aquard one being removing the back seat to get to the high level brake wiring. all other lights are in the canbus. proper price for the westfalia bar is near £400 IIRC so makes it worthwhile imho. towed for the first time yesterday, i have a large twin axle steel trailer, and with a corsa on it my mondeo TDCi would start to swing around 60 if the road wasnt great, the bm was solid as a rock, and the canbus wiring automatically disabled the rear parking sensors too fantastic towcar, i just wish mine was an auto for towing, feel like the clutch takes a beating on hill starts. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I got an 08 530d back in August (E60) and absolutely love it... It has absolutely everything and is a joy to drive (including heated seats lol). Plenty of poke!
