I also think we need a backup restaurant as the Grill Pit can be difficult to get into on a Saturday night and with xmas coming it may be even harder!

If we are sticking with Wakefield then the nearest place I can find is:- http://www.bollywood-lounge.co.uk I've never been before, so I am happy to leave suggestions to other, perhaps more local folk. (as people didn't rate my 2011 choice of Zaiem's!)

I know a place that does good food all you can eat and drink Chinese for £35 a head.

your all taking this too seriously. The Scottish TM Christmas do if we had it would consist of liquid nutrients garnished with a bag of crisps if your really hungry followed by a fish supper on the way home

We've done Rotherham and Sheffield before (don't want to inflict Barnsley or Doncaster on you lot) so personally I think Wakey is still a good option!

Other reason I fancy Wakefield is I really want to go to Fernandes! All the places Adrian suggest are stumblingly close to it too.
