Rick, if it's the same pile of shite you had two years ago i wouldn't watn to borrow it as it only runs on two cyliners, or it did when last yopu picked me up in it lol.

That and the feeling I am being fobbed off with every excuse as to why the parts ordered for the car have not turned up, three times, three different parts! We bought an Audi thinking we would be getting a decent service, more so after the year I've had with Vauxhall. OK, I admit that the garage dealing with the car now are taking responsability and the Technician is at least concientious in making sure its right, but three weeks constantly waiting for parts! FFS!!! I'll be putting in a complaint for both garages! Slight benefit of all this is that the Missus is now driving round in a 63 plate Audi Q3 S-Line. Not the same as your own car and its not the car she would have chosen, even after driving one. Ok so i just had a phone call from the dealer. They are now replacing the engine! I'm not sure that VAGcom would have been any use since the dealer kit couldn't tel them what was wrong with it, they had to start throwing parts at it, and when that didn't work, Audi UK told them to take the cylinder head off. Audi UK then told them this morning to replace the whole engine lol. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Volvo have been the same with my V50. they cant find out what's wrong with the steering but keep blaming it on warped discs (had 3 sets replaced) |
